Sign
Sign puts your signature on the page. Draw it right there, or use a signature image you've saved before.
How to do it
- Choose Sign, from the toolbar or the Edit tools — the Signature card opens.
- Draw your signature, or choose Image from file to upload one.
- Click Use Signature, then click the page to place it.
What to know
- Your saved signatures stay on this computer — they aren't uploaded anywhere.
- Flatten on save is on by default, which bakes the signature into the page when you Save — it becomes part of the page rather than a removable layer. That's usually what you want on a signed document.
- It's held until you Save. Reorganizing pages before saving clears a signature you've placed but not yet saved — save first.
